Participation @ OCAC Self Assessment Workshop

On 2 July 2013, the International Federation of RedCross & RedCrescent Societies (IFRC) & the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) selected me to be part of the Red Cross/RedCrescent Assessment Team that will be in charge of rolling the Organizational Capacity Assessment & Certification (OCAC) exercise at the Red Cross/Red Crescent National Societies of the Middle East & North Africa.

OCAC process is intended to capture the strengths & weaknesses of the Society as a whole in relation to a wide range of organizational capacities.
The OCAC tool is composed of 94 attributes that are designed with an average organizational growth curve in mind. Each National Society has to meet with time all the attributes in order to be certified as "A Well Functioning National Society".
