On 6 October 2013, I payed a visit to the First Aid Section at the Lebanese Red Cross Jounieh Branch during their end summer camp at the Franciscan Monestry Achkout Kesserwen.
I provided the opening morning remarks on several topics of concern such as:
1. The importance to keep up the good work & uphold the highest first aid standards, efficiency, expertise & skills.
2. To keep in mind that our priority is the vulnerable people in kesserwen, the area of our operation & in Lebanon when needed.
3. To be always inspired by the Red Cross & Red Crescent seven guiding principles, specifically by our Impartiality & Independance الحياد والاستقلالية.
4. To focus on our actions related to Disaster preperdeness, management & response.
5. To work together united on the construction of a new RedCross first aid station in Kesserwen Kadaa that is made on the basis of international first aid standards.
The visit was succesfully closed with a nice get together on a simple likely breakfast: " Manakish, Labneh & vegetables", as it is known the food of first aiders.
"Always beyond the Duty"...Thumbs Up!!!
